About Reata Estates

How to Find Reata Estates

Reata Estates is located just west of Fort Worth near the Parker-Tarrant County line, and close to the FM-1886 development corridor.  From Fort Worth, there are two easy to navigate routes.

  1. The first is on I-20 from south Fort Worth or I-30 from the downtown area.
  2. The second choice is on the Jacksboro Highway (SH-199).  The Jacksboro Highway is congested, but still a good choice for driving from north Fort Worth.

The I-20 Route from South Fort Worth & I-30 Route from Downtown

  • Drive west toward Weatherford on I-20 (from south Fort Worth) or I-30 (from downtown Fort Worth).
  • Exit at FM-1187 (south to Aledo) / FM-3325 (north).
  • Turn right (north) and go about 8 miles to a blinking red light that is FM-1886.
  • Turn right (east) on FM-1886 and go about 1.5 miles to Reese Lane.
  • Turn left (north) on Reese Lane and go about 1/2 mile.
  • Turn right at the "Y" (it looks like a gate but is a public road) just in front of a house.
  • The bricked entrance gate to Reata is ahead about 100 yards.

The Jacksboro Highway (SH-199) Route from North Fort Worth

  • Exit from Loop-820 onto the Jacksboro Highway (SH-199 west).
  • Go west on SH-199 about 3 miles to the FM-1886 exit (exit for the Fort Worth Nature Center).
  • Go west (left) on FM-1886 about 6 miles to Reese Lane.
  • Turn right (north) on Reese Lane and go about 1/2 mile.
  • Turn right at the "Y" (it looks like a gate but is a public road) just in front of a house.
  • The bricked entrance gate to Reata is ahead about 100 yards.
