Association Assessments

Each lot within Reata Estates is subject to annual and special assessments as defined in Article V of the restrictive covenants.  Each property owner in Reata Estates is bound by the covenants and has legal responsibility to pay annual and special assessments.

If members do not maintain a current mailing address (email or U.S. Postal Service) with the association administrator to receive invoices, per our Bylaws they are still responsible for paying all assessments including any interest, late fees, and legal costs.

Annual Assessments

The annual assessment is $300 per lot.  It is due January 1st of each year and delinquent February 1.  Interest and a late fee will be added if the association does not receive payment by February 1.

The association will send a reminder email to pay assessments; however, each member is responsible for paying assessments on time even if the email is never received.

If you cannot pay the annual assessment by January 1, contact the association treasurer >>> Email to implement a payment plan.

Also, payment may be made by credit card.  Contact the treasurer >>> Email to make arrangements.  A service fee will be added for credit card payments.

Special Assessments

Special assessments must be approved by 67% of the membership, and the amount varies.  Usually, any special assessment is due July 1 of each year, but may vary.

If the due date is July 1, and the assessment is not paid by August 1, it is considered delinquent.  Interest and a late fee will be added if the association does not receive payment no later than 30 days after the due date.

The association will send a reminder email to pay assessments; however, each member is responsible for paying assessments on time even if the email is never received.

If you cannot pay the special assessment by the due date, contact  the association treasurer >>> Email to implement a payment plan.

Also, payment may be made by credit card.  Contact the treasurer >>>Email to make arrangements.  A service fee will be added for credit card payments.
